WILLIAMSBURG AVIATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - VA RESIDENTS
The mission of the Williamsburg Aviation Scholarship Program (WASP) is to create career opportunities in aviation, WASP funds flight training for high school age students who are pursuing an aviation career. Recipients are fully funded to attain up to 50 flight hours towards attaining their private pilot license and are composed of students who have demonstrated diligence in their schoolwork, a passion for flying and could otherwise not afford the training.
APPLICANTS MUST BE VIRGINIA RESIDENTS, ATTENDING HIGH SCHOOL (INCLUDING HOME SCHOOL) IN THE TIDEWATER AREA, AND TURN 16 YEARS OLD NO LATER THAN JUNE 1, 2023.
