Summer College Paid Intern - Aviation, LGA Operations - Application Deadline - February 1, 2023
The Aviation, LGA Operations department is looking for an intern to join their Aeronautical team! Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the Day-to-day Aeronautical Airport Operations Activities at LGA.
Assisting with periodic, daily, and continuous airfield and facilities inspections.
Actively monitoring two-way radio communication amongst airport staff, flight operations status, and weather.
Assisting with coordinating airport construction activities.
Providing high levels of customer service in responding to questions and inquiries from the public.
The Airside Operations Intern will report to the Aeronautical Manager and/or the Operations Chief of the assigned departments to learn, assist, and complete a special project dedicated to the intern.
Candidates must be students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Aviation Management program for the upcoming Fall 2023 semester.
