I would like to thank JetBlue for presenting me with a wonderful award and gift during the 2023 OBAP/JetBlue NY ACE Academy graduation on July 14, 2023.
As you can see from the video, I was so surprised when I was called up to receive an award recognizing my volunteer service introducing aviation careers to youth in my community.
I’m very passionate about introducing aviation to young children and I have been so blessed to meet and help the students and parents I have met during Ace Academies over the years. Thank you, JetBlue, for all that you do for these young students, it was an amazing week!
I would also like to give thanks to these special people in JetBlue, Chief Pilot of Newark Eric Pool, Captain Jeffrey Gonzalez, Lead Aircraft Technician Watson Jones, Aircraft Technician Jose Jimenez and the Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility Tina Klaric and everyone who helped make this award happen.
