2022 AEOP High School Summer Apprenticeship STEM Program Application - Deadline 2/28/22

The AEOP High School Apprenticeship program places talented high school students in STEM research apprenticeships at U.S. Army Research Laboratories and Centers and universities. Apprentices perform hands-on research under the direct supervision of a professional scientist or engineer. Apprentices are exposed to the real world of research, receive valuable mentorship, and learn about education and career opportunities in STEM. AEOP High School Apprenticeships are 5-8 weeks in length (minimum of 200 hours). They take place in the summer and are non-residential (participants must provide their own transportation, housing, and meals). Apprentices receive an educational stipend in support of the experience.

Not only is participation in the AEOP free, all AEOP apprentices receive an educational stipend in recognition of their work
